Help me find an electric blanket that fits my requirements please!

It has to-
Be double bed size
Have dual controls
Have timers
Have plenty of temperature settings
Be able heat just the feet end (this is most important, DH has severe nerve damage in his feet which means they're permanently icy cold in winter).

I've googled and looked all over the place. The cheapest I've found one is on Amazon for £55 but I was really hoping to find something cheaper that still suits our requirements, especially now that winter is coming to an end. Am I being delusional hoping for something cheaper that still does everything we want it to or will we just have to suck it up and get the £55 one?

Mine has dual controls, can heat just feet if you want it to. Control goes from number one right up to nine if you need it and it fits my king size bed. Only thing it hasn’t got is a timer. Suppose you could use a timer plug??

Thanks Stevienicks but we want a blanket, it's not just for his feet.

That sounds ok Trevor, which one is it? The timer is just something we'd prefer to be honest, it's not a necessity.

Ooh there's one in Aldi! I don't use them but pointed out the dual controls.

www.aldi.co.uk/easy-home-double-electric-blanket/p/097125266662600?gclid=CjwKCAiAnsnjBRB6EiwATkM1XlYbSSbP96-6Z3T8aSwKAndtggGrhgQXgnKBcVv4SbFVSSfKxxCobBoCXtUQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

It doesn't mention the timer there but I'm positive the packaging mentioned it.

£55 sounds reasonable.
If you work it out it will be on the bed half a year at least.
Being an appliance I'd buy a reputable brand for peace of mind.

I have a dreamland underblanket that's 5 years old and cost £100, worth every penny and washes great.

hsdonline.co.uk Sorry not sure how to do links. I’ve had three off them for family members. Fast delivery and great customer service too. Think they’ve got 5%off your first order at the moment?
