If you had a £20 book voucher...

Would you buy a beautiful/upgraded version of a book you already love, or risk 'wasting' it on a book you don't know you'll enjoy?

I received a Waterstones voucher for Christmas and I'm really reluctant to spend it on something I don't know I'll love.

I know this might sound ridiculous to some but I'm trying to cut back on spending at the minute so want to use it carefully.

Can anyone recommend any impossible-not-to-love book store purchases? Smile

Do you mean like a hardback or illustrated version of something you've already bought but in paperback? I would definitely buy a nicer version of a favourite book. I own all the Harry Potter books but I also have the special illustrated versions as well.

You can always try new books from the library, buying books is risky and I'd hate to waste a voucher on a total lemon!
