Will dettol spray be enough to stop this bug spreading?

My daughter has a stomach bug, last night she was asleep in my room and vomited on the floor near a (big) pile of washing that i've been putting off putting away, should i wash it all again or will the dettol spray in a can sprayed over each item be enough?

I don't really have the money for the extra electric it'll use but i obviously want to stop the bug spreading to myself and other family members so will if i have too, there's no actual vomit on the clothes i'm just worried about particles, can anyone advise me on this?

Wash again will be covered in spores I think

JRMisOdious · 24/02/2019 10:44

Yep sorry but wash again. Will save money in the long run if you stop rest of family catching bug and the associated washing for that

anitagreen · 24/02/2019 10:46

Got it to be above 40 I think but don't quote me x

Roxyxoxo · 24/02/2019 10:47

Wash it or set fire to it! Washing at 40 might be more economical, but wouldn’t risk leaving it.

marshymy · 24/02/2019 10:53

okay thanks everyone!

A lot of the vomiting viruses are airborne so there's every chance the damage has already been done.
