Beautiful song ideas

I've been asked to choose a song to perform at my friend's birthday party. I'd like something lovely, probably quite slow-paced and with lyrics about her being special, or or loved, etc. Any ideas?

What sort of voice do you have? What singers would you say that you relate to...and style?

Luckily for everyone I won't be singing! The song will be performed in sign language.

I love “better when we’re together” by Jack Johnson. I think I may walk down the aisle to it when me and OH elope later this year - instead of a first dance. I think it works for friendship as well as a relationship.
