Does anyone buy H&M teen sizes for themselves?

Just wondering because I’ve seen a dress I like and I’ve had vests in their 13-14 or 14+ sizes that fit perfectly, even being a bit long... I’m 165cm and a size small in their womenswear. They’ve got 15% off at the moment (again). Worth a punt?

Worth a try. Go for it. I wear some kids clothes not tried h and m kids for myself though.

I'm 5ft2 and size 8/10 and I can fit into h&m 14+ and next age 15 or 16. Makes shopping for basics much cheaper!

If you're teen sized, go for it. My body hasn't been since I was about 11, but I get the teen range glasses from Specsavers because my head is too small for adult glasses.

I am short and have bought kids clothes. When I was about a size 12, I could fit into the girls age 15-16 sizes.

H&M can be a bit hit and miss though with sizes, and I usually need the size up in there from their divided range or whatever it's called.

dancemom · 23/02/2019 22:20

Yup I have a few of their T-shirt's, a skirt and 2 jackets from there!

sparklefarts · 23/02/2019 22:22

Lol no, maybe my left thigh would fit Grin

Brilliant. Might give it a go, then! Need some more vests anyway, Costa (and they’re organic cotton on 3 for 2! High five Grin).

It's almost like that's what H&M stands for. Hit and miss with sizing, mostly miss.

Dh & I both wear 14+ h&m clothes. You won't look back once you've tried it, great for basics and I've got the odd nice dress too.
It's now a family joke that we're the only ones in kids clothes, as both dc are very tall and built like lean athletes! (not skinny like dh & I!)

IHaveBrilloHair · 23/02/2019 22:38

I always buy teen sizes, I'm 5 foot and a size 8 so it makes sense.

LookImAHooman · 23/02/2019 22:40

Barbara no way in fuck am I brave enough to try this for bottoms, though. I don’t need that Wink

Can’t think why it’s not occurred to me to try before. This is probably going to be a terrible £ idea, new world opened and all that...

Yes. I'm finding more and more that as 'teen size' clothing gets bigger, I can find a lot in that range in many shops.

I just don't always think to look in that section.

I'm okay in skirts, got a really cute faux leather skater one but wouldn't even contemplate their trousers or jeans!
