Broken toe- pins and needles and numbness in foot?

Broke my second toe a few days ago. It's been strapped up and checked out, mostly because I had pins and needles. So it is a clean break (diagonal 20° angle) and told to rest etc. They did an x-ray, so no dislocation.

But I'm still getting numbness and pins and needles in that foot. When elevated and when it isn't. Its hard to find any position where it doesn't happen.

I don't want to go to Dr unnecessarily, but is it something to worry about?

Could it be nerve damage, are your toes and feet warm and pink. You could call 111 for advice. Where are the pins and needles.

They are pink, but cold. But that's cos I every time I try and put slippers or anything on the pins and needles gets worse.

The numbness and pins and needles is in my whole foot, although it moves around. It's in my toes at the moment.

That sounds uncomfortable, I'd call for medical advice. Hope it all heals up soonFlowers

I’ve been getting this since someone drove into the back of my car a week ago.
Told it is nerve related.
