Has anyone tried flamingo candles?

I've just received two that I bought in the sale, a bubblegum one which smelt nice before it was lit, once lit smells like a cross between vomit and cheesy feet and gave me headache.

The other is cinnamon buns scent which is a bit meh.

The scent is really strong which would be nice if they actually smelt nice. Are any of their other fragrances nice?

I used to subscribe to their box thing which was a selection of wax melts every month. Some of them smelt amazing but the odd few were awful!! The ones i liked i bought as actual candles and i think they're pretty good quality and scent pay off is good. When you get nice ones!! Their wax melts are pretty inexpensive so you could buy a few to see what ones you like. I ended up stopping the subscription as i couldnt get through them quick enough. I use half and melted them a couple of times so good value for money.

I'm impressed by how good the scent pay off is for a small candle, just disappointed with the actual smell. I've had other big candles that smell of basically nothing.

I'll have to try out some of there wax melts. My favourite yankee one seems to have been discontinued.

Ive had a look at the wax melts and these are the ones i liked the most.

Mulled wine & berries, spiced clementine gin, lavender and chamomile, lime & black pepper, rose velvet and precious oud and black tea & almond (the last 2 are my very favourite)

I know a lot of people have an issue with Yankee candles. I dont but i do reckon Flamingo candles are a little better.
If youre going to try out the melts, definitely get an electric melter. So much easier to clean.

Thanks I'll take a look at those. Thats good about the electric melter, that's what made me give up on wax melts previously, what a pain it was to clean them.

I have the airwick one and while it gets hot enough to melt the wax the little dish can be picked up so i just pour it in an empty cat food tin and give it a wipe with some kitchen roll.
