I just saw a fox the size of a labrador!

Jeepers it was huge!

I once camped at a site near Thorpe Park. It was the final night, at about 11pm when I walked back to my tent from the shower block.

Right in front of me crossed a fox. He looked at me right in the eyes, clearly didn't give a toss and slowly waltzed off into the night.

Brazen!!

I remember walking to work and seeing a dead fox that must have been hit by a car and it was huge. I thought it was a dog at first. Made me feel sad for the whole day.

Probaby the fucker that killed 2 of my chickens the other week....

We have an enormous fox that patrols round here, he's a really beautiful one. Very thick luxuriant coat, he's the size of a Labrador too.

We have a giant fox visitor to our garden. Or it's a ginger alsation. Thank you OP, you've reminded me that I need to set up my night vision wildlife camera again, because I took it down to look at the pics and didn't put it back out there.

So far I have 8000 pictures of my own cats, sometimes chasing birds or hiding from the post man.

A giant fox knocked me off my feet once! It came out of a garden and clearly I'd surprised it, it let out this scream that was scarily human like, ran straight through me knocking me to the ground - I screamed too!

Huge problems with urban foxes in the areas around Thorpe Park!

Yes we've seen a very large well fed looking fox. Beautiful coat and tail.

And a mother with two cubs playing on the street. All looked very healthy indeed

I used to work nights and saw lots. One had worked out how to use road crossings and would sit waiting for the lights to change.

Was it Liam Fox? He’s pretty chunky and could be mistaken for a Labrador?

Yep, that’s the size of a male adult Fox.

I used to see a vixen with her cubs every morning on my way to my old job.

Did see a dead badger on the road the other day - now that was huge!

They are stunning animals but being a livestock keeper i dont like them. Saw a fox one night, about 2am and it just walked round my sheep. Either they didnt see it or they were just not bothered but they didn't flinch! However if a stray dog goes ito the field they go nuts!

DH called me once to go to a field 1/2 a mile away. Hecwas there watching a fox stalk sheep and geese. I had time to run up, and he was having a ball! Owner eventually came out of the house and shooed it away but he didnt go. He was very brazen.

During lambing time we have had to get a hunter over to shoot a few. They are very destructive.

I saw a vixen kill a cat to feed her two cubs. It was really sad to think the cat was possibly a pet. The cubs were beautiful though but it was a really cruel scene.
