Am i going mad .. but did REVELS ..the chocolates used to come in a box (like a Maltesers box ) ??

I don't think they did but the first TV advert for them showed a typical box of chocolates and then a bag of revels being tipped into the (emptied) chocolate box that couldn't then be closed ie. you get more revels in a bag than you'd get in a box of chocolates.

I definitely remember them in poppets type boxes but they maybe came in bigger boxes around christmas time?

I can very vaguely remember revels in a box but I'm not sure if I'm mixing them up with poppets.

Me too, I give them a little squish between my fingers first to make sure it’s a cream and not filling dislodging toffee

I’m pretty sure it was poppets in a box. I remember bags of revels as a kid and I’m in my early 40’s. Evil things 🤢
