DDs hair is very limp and gets greasy so quickly. Has anyone found a shampoo that will allow her a few days between washes?

Good old fashioned Vosene - the original one. I got it for ds age 10, it was in Asda for £1!

shampoing twice helps massively.
and rinsing properly with clear water, not in the bath water.

My dd had hair like that, the only thing that helped was only washing every 3 days and only using conditioner. It did take a while to stop looking greasy though which may be harder for an older child. Could you use something like dry shampoo in between? Sometimes hair is greasy from being overstimulated at the roots.

Dead sea salt shampoo is very good. Also try dry shampoo in between washes.

Oh I hadn't considered dry shampoo.

I'll try that and the vosene first then if no improvement I'll move on to the next suggestion.

Thanks

The body shop ginger shampoo for dry flaky scalps actually works v well

I've always had very greasy hair. Only use a tiny bit of conditioner and only on the ends not the roots.

I've noticed my DDs getting hair like this, we wash twice a week, double wash and condition only the ends. If you use dry shampoo, spray it on the night before then brush thoroughly in the morning.

Ds is 12 and has very greasy hair, and we find vosene to be about the best.
