Can anyone identify this bird?

Spotted at a garden centre in Bedfordshire. It looks a bit like a blackboard but bigger and with a dappled chest and wings.

Looks just like a female blackbird to me. Too dark to be a thrush.

Possibly a blackbird. The females aren't black anyway, but a dark brown colour.

I thought it looked like a teenage blackbird but it’s a bit early in the year.
