Worried about the effects of smoking in pregnancy

I found out I’m pregnant this week, completely unexpected but I do want to proceed with the pregnancy
The day I found out (Thursday) I completely stopped smoking and haven’t had one since however based on my period I believe I’m about six weeks and I’m honestly horribly worried that things will go wrong as I have been smoking fairly heavily up until finding out (easily get through 25 hand rolled cigarettes per day) but please be aware I completely stopped as soon as I got a positive test. I’m feeling so anxious and awful just wondering if anyone was in the same boat and did your baby turn out ok? I’ve been scaring myself silly reading up about it. Sad

not that i approve BUT i know someone who smoked through all of her pregnancies and she has had nothing but healthy happy babies born at full term. Obviously, I wouldn't say it's good to smoke through pregnancy but I honestly think you and baby will be fine, you stopped as soon as you knew and haven't had one since. congratulations on your pregnancy Thanks

Firstly well done for quitting I personally couldn't do it, I smoked all throughout both of my pregnancies and both girls came out perfectly healthy also my sister smoked with her 3 and all healthy, so baby should be fine, many women do things they shouldn't do during pregnancy and give birth the healthy babies
