Meal plan advice/on a tight schedule

I'm going to attempt a meal plan for March shortly and put a grocery order in so I'm asking two questions. Firstly, I'd love to hear your DC favourite meals as I'm so sick of making the same things over and over again. My DC are 9 and 7.

Secondly, I find week days so tight to try and fit everything in. I work to 5 Mon-wed, half day thurs and off Friday.
DD trains at her sport 4-6 Mon, Wed and Fri then DS goes to football straight after we collect DD twice a week and youth club the other day. What does everyone make for tea when they are really tight on time?
DS gets a school dinner very day and DD picks and chooses according to the menu.
DH works shifts and most of the time is home around 7.

I use a slow cooker. I also spend half a day batch cooking and freezing stuff for later on in the week.

On tight time days I do stuff like jacket potatoes on a timer in the oven, pasta and sauce made in advance, curry made in advance with microwave rice. Or stir fry, fajitas, noodles — all very fast if you start with everything prepped.

I prep everything for the next night’s meal the evening before, while DC are eating.

You have time on Friday or at the weekend to do a decent meal for that day and cook other stuff for the freezer.

Pasta, stir fry, noodles, slow cooker, soft tacos, salads ... all fast under 20 mins.

I have four or five meals that I can have on the table within 30 mins of getting home. A chicken pilaf which is a Good Housekeeping recipe, a chorizo, tomato and egg dish from Joe Wicks, a quick mince/wok dish, a baked risotto all cooked from scratch. I rotate these on short of time days.
