Has anyone with anxiety had it affect their eyes?

Had a problem with slightly fuzzy vision sometimes, mainly with watching tv and looking at light up shop signs etc - it was a lot worse and was affecting close up vision too but has got a bit better

I’ve been suffering with major health anxiety and the eye issue then made it even worse and thenoptocian and eye referral specialist both checked me over and said my eyes look fine and they think it’s anxiety at the root cause

The reason I’m asking is because if you experienced something similar, what problem did you have and did it take long to go back to normal? Did you have to properly get a grip on the anxiety first?

The eye thing makes me anxious so I’m struggling to see how I can get back to normal. it’s not so bad it’s impacting things, I can read and see and it’s not always noticeable but when I’m obsessing about it, obviously I see it.

Doctor has suggested sertraline but I’m a bit nervous about taking meds for it
