URGENT VERY IMPORTANT CHINESE HELP NEEDED

Quick! What is Cantonese Beef with Tomato like? I don't like anything remotely sweet. Is this a sweet sauce? Help! Need a good but slightly different Chinese option!

Thank in advance for help with hugely important life decision

I don't rate it, sorry. Prefer beef and cashew nuts or Lemon chicken.

How about mixed spicy vermicelli noodles? They are my fave!!

Agh, dinner is already cooked but I'm dying for a Chinese now!

Missythecat · 22/02/2019 19:43

Ah ok no vermicelli in my local Chinese.

Ok I need to break away from my duck chow mein usual. Foo yung? What's that like?

I’ve just had lush king prawn and sweet corn .

MyBreadIsEggy · 22/02/2019 19:45

Foo yung reminds me of omelette. Not really that exciting, but nice.
Beef in black bean sauce is always my go-to when I fancy something other than chicken

StereophonicallyChallenged · 22/02/2019 19:46

I'm sat waiting on my salt and pepper chicken with veg chow mein to arrive.

I felt like a plainish meal. Definitely not sweet.

Now I'm getting impatient thanks OP 😂

Beef in black bean sauce is my favourite.
Char Sui pork chow mein..mmm.
Hungry now.

Al2O3 · 22/02/2019 19:48

Crispy lamb pancakes. Delicious.

AdaColeman · 22/02/2019 19:49

Foo yung is rice and chopped up omelette round here. What about pork char sui, that isn't sweet.

Missythecat · 22/02/2019 20:28

Right wimped out and gone for spring rolls and special chow mein. Too hungry for it to be wrong.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I need to do some Chinese food reconnaissance missions when I'm not so starving
