Burn on hand how to treat

I burnt My hand on Tuesday. Thought it was healing ok but knocked it last night and the skin has come off. It's a bit sore and I'm worried it could get infected. What should I do?

Put a loose dry dressing on it and keep it clean. It looks pretty good right now.

Minor injuries - hand burns aren't very stable and they're always happy to treat them. I burnt my hand to buggery taking one of those convent Garden soups out of the microwave and it took a couple of dressings - even if you're 'being careful' you can't help moving and knocking your hand, as you've seen.

Aloe Vera is very good for burns.
