It’s about cooking and depression and anxiety and self care, and it’s funny and wonderful. I bought it in solidarity with the author, whose story I followed on Twitter not really expecting to use it, but i’ve made 5 things so far and they have all been easy, delicious and stress free. It would be fantastic to give an older teenager. So far i’ve made the chicken curry (well, ds made that) the kale salad, the lemon posset, the cookies and the Chao Xa Ga. The last one i’ve made 3 times- reducing the pepper significantly for the second and third to suit timid palates.
