Board Games 6-9 year olds

Hi all,,
Just wondering what type of board games you would buy for younger children. What qualities would you look for in the board game and so on. Any particular favourites

Games my 7 yr old like include

Labyrinth
Ticket to Ride junior version
Snakes and Ladders
Junior Monopoly

I saw Labyrinth recommended on here a few times, we got it and it’s great!

Game of Life, my nearly 7yo DS loves it

My 8 year old likes Catan, Cluedo, Frustration, Monopoly (although she does get bored if it goes on too long!), Destination (the one we have is a Christmas version, not sure if there is another one) and Junior Scotland Yard.

Qwirkle is a fab

We like monopoly deal. It's a card game and lots of fun. It's age 8+ but my 7 year old plays.
