Could you please recommend some good bluetooth headphones for a very fussy user

I need some bluetooth headphones so that I can listen to audiobooks on my Kindle Oasis. I have tricky ears. I can't use earbuds as they really hurt my ear canals, I also find the big, padded headphones uncomfortable after about 20 mins as they are too tight on my ears.

I currently use these with my iPhone, but they are plug in and there doesn't seem to be anything similar for bluetooth.

They don't have to be cheap, my Mum wants to get me something for a birthday present so she can get me earphones if I find good ones.

Many runners swear by Treks Titanium bone conductors. They sit on the bones next to the ear and hook over the ear on a joined frame like a heaband but round the back. Really reliable. Good battery life. I wear mine on 2hr+ runs with no issues and notice the detail of sound quality that I don't get on other speakers.

Search Q12 Bluetooth on amazon. Can you wear ones like that? They’re super comfy and come with different size ear buds you can change

I don't think so Juniper, anything in the ear is a problem. Especially during spring when I get itchy and swollen ear canals with tree pollen.
