Does it ever feel less stressful?

I have three kids aged 6, 4 and 2.

Currently on holiday in the UK and I find it all so stressful.

I'm a bit of a control freak and end up taking on more than 50% of the packing and arranging.

I just feel like it all falls to me. I know a lot of that is my own doing but I hate holidays at the moment.

I feel like I'd be better off sending the kids to a daily holiday camp and staying at home as it would be more relaxing.

Do kids ever actually get any easier? I'm just fed up with the whole thing and feel like I wish I had never had kid x

We've not been able to afford to go on holiday with ours yet (10, 6, 4 and 1) so my advice would be to enjoy! They're only this young for a really short period of time.

I refuse to holiday in the U.K. without DM or DPIL otherwise it’s just an expensive way of changing the house into one that has less of our useful stuff.

If you can run to it then AI somewhere sunny is relaxing (even if getting there is more stressful).

I find abroad AI also very stressful. Just feel like the mental load is on me and I get very little downtime.

Unless you can let more of this go, it won't end. And I say that as I am the same! It's tricky, in a way I would just love to turn up to a holiday someone else has organised, but the reality is I don't trust anyone else to make sure everything is covered!
