Hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I was taken to A+E last week and they suspect kidney colic, I have much pain medication whilst I wait on a scan to confirm.
The pain medication however makes me feel incredibly sick all the time so I haven't been taking this and instead trying to breath through the attacks when they come so in my 'clear' moments I can work still.
I was told there is a 6 week waiting list just for the scan and although 1 week in i'm absolutely exhausted.
If I paid for a private scan could I then send that to my GP to be referred for treatment or once you start down the private route do you have to stick with it?
