My periods have changed over the past 5 years - used to have a moderately heavy start and a week of trailing off, while now it's pretty much all done in a day (filling mooncup at least 2-3 times). Still fairly regular though.

I've been having this weird thing where my face (only my face) gets really really hot and blotchy at random times. I seem to have more acne and hair than I remember, and now my eyes are all dry for no apparent reason (skin too).

I'm 37 Sad admittedly we get the chnage early in my family, but this seems a bit bloody much. I have friends who started their families at my age FFS.

So does it sound like perimenopause? Answers on a postcard please tied to a chocolate bar

Not, sure, but I am mid 40s and having unpleasant symptoms - very emotional, tired, etc. At your age I would probably go to the doctor just to see what’s happening with your hormone levels.

If you are noticing differences, it's worth seeing your GP. And don't be fobbed off - my GP put it all down to anxiety. Funnily enough, all these symptoms have stopped in the last 5 months. Along with my periods....
