Hi I’m 38 and just been diagnosed with large rectocele grade 2 intussception large cystocele Peoria always fistula and full pelvic muscle dysfunction. I’ve been struggling with abdo pain for over a year which meant I was referred to colorectal surgeons for investigations. Now I’ve got my results the consultant has told me it’s not his area of expertise and he referring me to another colorectal surgeon. I’m in pain with this constantly and it’s affecting everything I do and now have to wait for new referral. They’ve also told me they wouldn’t sort the cystocele. I know I’m going to need an operation but concerned I’m going to end up needing two. Has anyone got any experience of this?also if anyone has had the surgery please can you give an indication of recovery and hospital stay as I only get limited time off work.
