Help with 3 month old’s sleep

My baby has arrived at a sleep pattern of sorts, albeit one which is starting to take its toll on my energy levels when I’m about to restart studying. Wondering if anyone recognise this type of sleeper and might have found some things that help?

  • Baby sleeps a good chunk from about 7-8pm (of ~4-5 hrs), and then wakes around every 90 mins for the rest of the night.
  • I bf him to sleep and to resettle at night as it’s the main thing that seems to work and to help prevent engorgement.
  • He won’t sleep laying flat in the day (so no pram/bassinet) or in his car seat. He’ll wake up 1-10 mins after being transferred to such a surface.
  • He’ll nap for varying periods in a swing, on me or in a carrier. Because of this, I can’t nap in the day either.

I know sleep patterns can change at around 4 months, but would also appreciate any advice to get us in a better position to handle that! Thanks
