Is it normal to completely lose hour appetite after pregnancy?

I went off all food after horrendous acid reflux and hyperemesis. By 18 weeks I'd gained no weight despite it being twins.

They're 16 weeks old now and my appetite hasn't returned. I assumed once I had given birth it would come back but no. There's about 5 foods I can tolerate and only in tiny amounts. Everything else makes me gag and vomit.

I had sensory issues with food as a child that lessened as I got older, but this feels exactly like that.

Is this normal?

@Seline oh no, that doesn't sound fun (or helpful!) at this time.

You could potentially be over tired or really stressed hence why you have no appetite/have gotten more picky about foods?

I would deffo take a trip to the GP, you can't go on unable to eat.

Are you breastfeeding?

Not any more, my babies were extremely premature so I had to express and couldn't get enough milk. Stopped fully about 7 weeks ago.

I can eat but it's miniscule amounts. If I eat large amounts or normal amounts I vomit.
