With a £50 John Lewis voucher

Got a £50 John Lewis birthday voucher from a kind friend with the express instruction to spend it on myself. I'm not good at doing that, tend to buy household of stuff for kids. However, am going to honour this and treat myself.

But, I'm stumped what to buy. I find it so difficult to buy one good quality thing, like a lipstick or earrings, that are just for me.

So, any suggestions? I'm looking for one purchase of quality from John Lewis Smile that would make you feel special.

I'd go and have a nice browse and buy something that will make you smile and remember the person who gave you the gift.

I like your idea of earrings, or maybe another piece of jewellery that won't 'run out' like a lipstick will. Or some wall art, or a new purse?

Happy spending!

I would buy a handbag (on sale probably!) or a top that made me feel special. I also like stationary so a nice pen if you’d use it?

I love John Lewis. I would treat myself to some Nars or Guerlain make up or probably buy a top or put it towards something from Damsel in A Dress.
Or if you can use it in the Clarins Spa within JL I would put it towards a full body massage......absolute bliss.

I like the costume jewellery.
