Sickness bug

I think I'm coming down with D&V bug Sad I really want to go to bed but scared to leave the bathroom.
Will be at home tomorrow & Wednesday with my 2yo (work 3 days). Just typical that it would be the days I don't have childcare for. Can't ask DH to stay home as he's self employed and recently started with a new client. My mum will be working. MIL already looks after DS one day a week and the occasional overnight so don't want to take the piss. SIL is heavily pregnant with their second. DB will be working.
DS had an accident in the bath earlier which is quite unusual so I suspect he's coming down with it too.
Help!! Just feeling sorry for myself as I know I will manage somehow.
Tips and moral support to help me through it anyone?!

Plenty of towels out ready for accidents and get your DH to buy lucozade and Dioralyte
Fly Lady has a good article on preparing to ride out a bug - air beds or bed in bathroom was one idea if really bad. My sympathies

You will manage. Get everything together in the bathroom that you might need for clearing up (but obviously keep cleaning products out of reach).

Maybe fill water bottles for you and DS to keep well hydrated if both of you come down with it.

If you're feeling rough now hopefully you'll get the worst done with overnight while DS sleeps.

I'm a single mum and although it obviously wasn't fun, was relieved to find that I coped with our first sickness bug since DD arrived (18m) absolutely fine.

I wouldn't have asked anyone to help me as I couldn't knowingly expose them to a horrible sickness bug.

I know, I wouldn't want anyone else to catch it either Sad

I really hope tomorrow might be a day that ds decides he actually doesn't mind going for a nap after his lunch - he's starting to drop his nap!

DH did a big shop on Sunday so there's plenty of supplies; food, toilet roll, cleaning products and the like.

It's a bad idea to take Imodium for a bug isn't it?

Yes definitely a bad idea to take immodium.
