These were the only pads I could use, that didn't smell horrendous. Went to buy them today and they now have a 'new and improved fresh deo scent'.

PLEASE someone Reccomend me something that doesn't smell. I sniffed all the packs in Boots today, got a lot of weird looks and couldn't find anything not scented.

I can't use a mooncup or tampons thanks dts

Always Sensitive.

I bought some Bodyform in an orange packet yesterday that are unscented too.

LilouBlue · 18/02/2019 13:17

I haven't needed them for a while, but Sainsbury's own brand used to be unscented, and quite soft too.

MrsJayy · 18/02/2019 13:20

Always Sensitive or Always Infinity

Sunseed · 18/02/2019 13:23

Co-op or Morrisons own brand.

ursuslemonade · 18/02/2019 13:24

Boots and Superdrug own brand. About 75p a pack.
Can't stand scented ones.

MrsJayy · 18/02/2019 13:25

Always infinity feel crunchy Blush

Not all the Bodyform pink have the deo fresh in them, though. It's just that the packaging is so misleading that you have to look very carefully. I've bought the deo fresh ones twice by mistake now, and I don't even feel I can give them to a food bank as I don't see why people in desperate situations should have to use awful products that might give them thrush.

So Bodyform do make some other pink ones that say "perfume free" in tiny writing at the bottom left but you really have to look carefully. Mind you, even the "perfume free" ones do have a slight smell in my opinion and I can't use them either, but a lot of people disagree with me about that.

What's even more infuriating is that I found it very difficult to did any contact details to send a complaint to Bodyform. I genuinely believe that they're deliberately trying to trick people into buying the deo fresh ones, otherwise they'd make the packaging a lot more obvious.

Try reusable. I was reluctant at first but wouldn't be without now. They're so soft and comfortable to wear, unscented, washable and I just shove them in a normal wash then the tumble dryer. OK so they feel a bit bulky at first but you get used to them pretty quick.

dementedpixie · 18/02/2019 13:33

I think always sensitive and classic are unscented. Not all bodyform are scented and should say on the pack. Kotex pads are unscented - I get them from home bargains or savers for dd

TwinkleTits70 · 18/02/2019 13:35

I hate the scented sanitary towels. It's not even a pleasant scent. Makes me feel sick.

Allycumpooster · 18/02/2019 13:35

Always infinity are no more and I miss them so much for this reason.
I hate dented pads Sad

MrsJayy · 18/02/2019 13:36

Ive not seen kotex for years I didn't know you could still get them.

TwinkleTits70 · 18/02/2019 13:36

Always Infinity are still around, but online only.

Allycumpooster · 18/02/2019 13:36

Scented not dented Hmm although I hate them too

Allycumpooster · 18/02/2019 13:38

I did try online for infinity. Where do you get them? I can never find any in stock

SoupDragon · 18/02/2019 13:38

There are still scented ones - I bought them at the weekend. They have "unscented" on the pack so you don't have to guess or sniff them!

bibbitybobbityyhat · 18/02/2019 13:39

Small independent chemists often stock Kotex. Or you can order unscented ones in bulk online? This is what I do for DD as she is a youngster who can't stand the scented pads either.

SoupDragon · 18/02/2019 13:40

It says "perfume free" rather than unscented

Boots currently has them on 2 for £4.

tectonicplates · 18/02/2019 13:43

Compare these two - they look very similar but are different. You want the one on the left but like I said, the "perfume free" and "fresh protect" claims are really not 100% guaranteed. They apparently don't smell but personally I think they do a bit. Either way you can see how misleading the packaging is.

Oh no, are they really scented now?! That’s really crap. Do they not realise that it causes thrush for a lot of women? I stopped buying always and have been using bodyform for a year now. Haven’t had an itch or cuts from soreness since.

I’m sure I’ve read “perfume free” or something like that on the packs. I thought they were acknowledging how shit scented pads are Sad

cleanhousewastedlife · 18/02/2019 13:45

Another vote for reusable ones. Comfy and you only pay for them once and you can control how scented they are by what you wash them in.

All these liners end up in landfill - it's pretty grim when you think about what we're leaving behind. That kind of waste will still be here when we are long gone!

TwinkleTits70 · 18/02/2019 13:47

Just ordered 8 packets myself after finding that deal.

babysharkah · 18/02/2019 13:50

I've been to Superdrug and managed to get some Always Sensitive which seem ok.

I will be gong to a bigger shop and stocking up on the unscented.
