Gro Egg

Hi, expecting DC1 in May.

I'm thinking of getting a Gro Egg Thermometer and using their chart so I know what layers to put on him when he's sleeping.

Does anybody recommend them or are they not worth it?

I used a free cardboard thermometer thing which came with a gro-bag.

I really like the Gro Egg, it gave me peace of mind, as the temperature in our house drops dramatically overnight, so it was really easy to just glance over and see if I needed to add an extra layer or not. It's also like a very dim nightlight. I still use it, and my boy is one.

I live in a very drafty farmhouse where because of the fires and the weather temperature is all over the place.

I liked the egg so much I have one in the kitchen come sitting room area and one in the bedroom. Quick glance is all that's needed. Yellow it's it's ideal colour but ours tends to sit at Amber if fire on.

I really like mine although my monitor also has a temp reading on it which seems to always read a bit lower than the gro egg , I think it reads temps a bit high however it's a brilliant night light and means I can always see into the cot when feeding etc and my daughter can't sleep without the light ( that might be a bad thing 🙈)

Thanks, think I'm gonna get one!

They're on sale at the moment so I think it's worth it
