Question about DP's passport....

I was wondering if folks knowledgable about passports could help me out....
DP wants to fly out to Turkey on March 4th and fly back on March 8th, only thing is, his passport runs out on March 11th. Should this be a problem? Thanks

Yes, you are normally supposed to have 6 months on your passport after you return from a trip. I wouldn't even risk that in the EU and Turkey isn't a member, so could be very tricky.

You can get passport renewal same day in London, excellent service, just a bit more expensive, and I don't know how soon you can get an appointment.

If he is able to apply on line my replacement passport took 5 days to arrive.

We just got a new passport in 8 days flat - run for it!

I just got two passports inside a week from applying online.

Probably should have mentioned, DP is Romanian! We are off to the Romanian Consulate in Manchester tomorrow to try and get him a passport quickly.
