Anybody have experience of peptic ulcers?

Morning, sorry to post this here, I whacked it on General Health, but the board is very slow, so thought I might repeat it here in case anybody has any knowledge or experience.

I'm not a health worrier, but I'm starting to wonder what on earth is up with me, plus, on a selfish note, I really miss eating... have rung my doctor for a telephone appt this afternoon.

Four months ago I was diagnosed with a peptic stomach ulcer, and treated with omeprazole, lansaprazole and ranitidine to help reduce the symptoms. I was warned it would take up to three months to heal.

The pain has never gone away, it's always lurked, especially after I've eaten, but recently it's come back full-force. Doesn't matter what type of food I have, I'm in agony after a few mouthfuls and have to stop eating. Like I said, I've rung the doctor to ask their advice, but does anybody on here have any knowledge of peptic ulcers? Should it still be like this after four months??
