Bonkers "styling" of new build house

I can't decide which is worse.
The faux Warhol of Jackie Kennedy with a blob on her face, or the sparkly person sulking by the breakfast bar.

The disco ball mannequin! Art on walls is normal, that ice bath and booze maybe for an occasion but twinkle tits is just odd

Top end houses round here all have the exact same styling. Lots of velvet seating, obligatory champagne in a bucket, and a dozen items of clothing hanging in the walk in wardrobe with 3 designer carrier bags.
And rumpled faux fur throw on the bed - makes me wonder if the estate agent had a quickie with the photographer before the pictures were taken.

Blimey. Where is this horror? General area - Cheshire?

I rather like it, and if they means I have no taste then so be it. The people who live there obviously like it too, and that’s surely all that matters. The artworks aren’t “faux Warhols” btw - they’re by Pure Evil.

Hideous.

Pretty sure it's a show home Comtesse for a development of new builds - so no owners to offend!

Dermymc · 18/02/2019 09:36

I must live in a lower class area, all new builds here are GREY and velvet.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 18/02/2019 09:44

No, it's a new build. In fact I don't think it's even finished yet so these are CGI images.
@Dermymc This corner of the house is unusually colourful, the rest of it is mid grey, taupe and charcoal.

We're planning a new kitchen. I wonder where I can get a Disco mannequin?
