Pain/bleeding what’s going on?

Sorry for posting in chat, but women’s health doesn’t seem to get much traffic.

For about six weeks I have been getting mild to moderate lower abdominal pelvic pain, I went to the GP about three weeks ago who diagnosed a UTI and prescribed antibiotics.
Seemed to help then pain retuned after a couple of days, plus intermittent bleeding.
I have an implant so don’t usually get much if any bleeding.
Bleeding has now continued for almost three weeks, not heavy but enough for a pad, pain is still on and off.
GP has done swabs and referred me for a scan, so just waiting on that.
Can anyone shed some light or give me any ideas?

Thanks

How long have you had the implant?

noitsachicken · 17/02/2019 19:58

About 8/9 months

It could be just the implant, but if it hasn’t improved after you’ve had your scan I would be asking for a gynae referral.

Endometritis?

Swab results back today and all normal.
Still bleeding, still pain. Wish I knew what was going on, I was hoping the swabs would say an infection which would be simple 🙁
