Weird things you've believed

As I can no longer ignore the fact that spring has sprung, I'm making a salad for lunch.

As I was chopping the bell peppers, I remembered my conviction that the seeds were thouroughly toxic. On a par with inedible fungi, consuming one would lead to a certain, and painful, death.

I avoided pre-prepped sir-fry, salads, and sandwiches for years, in case a rogue seed had infiltrated them.

Apparently they are hameless. I was 30+ when I discovered this, and I can't even remember why I thought they were lethal Grin .

Oh.

I am a freaky wierdo. The sort who thinks watermelons grow inside you if you eat a seed.

Weeps. Wine
