Tanya Burr - YouTuber turned Actress?

Hi All!

I couldn't find a thread on Tanya Burr, she is someone I've followed for a long time.

Does anyone have an opinion on Tanya trying to transition into acting?

As a long time follower I feel a little miffed with the way she seems to almost show embarrassment when she is linked to being known as a Youtuber. This is what made her after all.

If you don't know who she is or are not up to date with her acting, I think these 2 videos are good examples to watch if you have a spare couple of mins.

What an odd post.

Why odd? She's been in the news a lot at the moment, especially around her acting. Most people off the internet don't actually know who she is so usually I can't have a conversation about her.

Definitely no grudge against her. I'm also concerned as she has obviously lost a lot of weight fast. I'm not sure what is going on and I don't think it's all good.

I saw her in Confidence at the Southwark Playhouse last year. I didn't think she was very good so IMO she should stick to vlogging.

I saw her showreel and it's almost so terrible it's funny.
