I have 2 preteen DC. We are all still in pjs, drinking tea and watching TV. About to make a roast dinner. No plans at all.

Yesterday we went out for a walk and picnic for a few hours and then just watched TV in the evening.

It's all very lovely after a busy week, but I just feel like I should be actively doing something with them when we have days like this. That whole "make the most of everything" feeling I guess.

Do you feel guilty if you don't "do" anything?

Leaving the house in a few to get a couple of tattoos
Then working a three hour
We are having a couple of friends over tonight to play music and have a few

Had a bit of a lie in, checked on next doors pets which we are looking after, did a 5k run. Had a soak in the bath.

Made lunch, walked to M&S with DP and picked a few bits up, just relaxing on the spare bed- which gets the afternoon sun- until I put some washing in.

Lazy-ish day for us, but been nice to get out for some exercise.

Why are people on Mumsnet when they don't have children ????

Holymolymackerel · 17/02/2019 16:05

Had a lovely lie in, then had crushed pets for breakfast. Took kids to park, called at post office and tesco.
Came home, had quick lunch the pottered in the garden whilst kids played on the trampoline. Now mumsnetting and doing crosswords whilst the kids and dh do jigsaws in the lounge.

Then cottage pie and brussels for tea. Bath and called the midwife then bed to read.

Love Sundays when dh has a day off!

You might want to clarify "crushed pets"

Getting drunk at home while watching all the Lego films with the DC. We're taking them to the pictures tomorrow :)

I'm home alone this weekend. so telly-marathon, cups of tea, blanket and lunch in the sun. Oh and I swept up a pile of leaves. Now back under my blanket.
