There goes my sleep tonight got dd 3 up all upset saying her tummy hurts. Have done a hot water bottle given a little Calpol and sips of water. Anything else I can do to help doesn't seem to be any fever? TIA

Gentle tummy massage

DioneTheDiabolist · 17/02/2019 01:42

Some warm milk with honey and a digestive biscuit always worked for me as a kid.

HighlandWorrier · 17/02/2019 01:54

Thanks for the suggestions been rubbing her tummy. Don't have digestives in but will try warm milk and honey.

Could she be constipated OP?
Poor thing, hope she settles back to sleep soon.

Have a bucket ready in case she starts vomming x

Smotheroffive · 17/02/2019 02:40

Thought the same, get bucket ready, and is she constipated. In the absence of constipation, look out

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 17/02/2019 02:57

Rub her tummy in a clockwise circle just in case she's constipated... it stimulates the colon .

Snuggle and put an audio sleep story on .

( my 10 yr old has bad tummy ache a couple of weeks ago & this is what i did ).

Avoid ibuprofen as it cause the tummy to become more upset x

HighlandWorrier · 17/02/2019 02:57

Yes she is prone to constipation and I was wondering that but she threw up about half an hour ago. She seems to be settling now so hopefully we'll get some sleep. Thanks again all.x
