There's nothing like being I'll, with 2 small children

To make you realise just how "on your own" you are. Self pity post really. Just feel so poorly, sick earlier, tired and nauseous. 2 and 3 yr old to deal with. It's been a long day.

They've watched dvds, music on the tv, cartoons. Tipped all the toys out. They're winding up to warp speed.

They're pretty tired themselves so aiming for early bed all round. I just want to lay down..

I feel you. I was vomiting over the loo with a 10 month old standing next to me smiling because he decided 2.30am was a great time to be up. Then 3 year old woke up and joined in. Of course they didn't sleep any longer in the morning. (Also awful is scrubbing a steaming pile of diarrhoea off the landing carpet after removing soiled nappy and then baby let another lot out while I turned for the wipes. Also early hours).

It sucks. I hope you're feeling better soon!

Thanks. I've got no energy. I really hope I can sleep once They're in bed. Eating dinner now then upstairs.

Oh, it’s just awful. I hope you can get them in bed soon and have some rest yourself.

I had to get my Dad to come and get my DD earlier as I felt so rough with an ear infection.

Thanks bedraggled, we had an awful night but child 1 seems remarkably chipper today. Stbx arrived and took them away so I'm cleaning and doing washing in between laying down.

I feel you OP. I'm ill but so are the 2 DC. And DH is actually more ill than me, so I'm completely on my own!!

Ugh i couldn't manage chocolate today. I've got to do the washing, it's sick coveted and smells. Am done now and expecting their return in an hour. What a restful day off.
