As it was bundled in with her towel. (and her goggles!). I'll get her to try it on when dry but will it go all see though when she's swimming?

I don't think it'd happen after just 1 hot wash.

StealthPolarBear · 16/02/2019 16:15

Thanks. Hope not. Would hate for her to be embarrassed :(

I've always washed mine on a hot wash.. and I swim twice a week in a very heavily chlorinated hydro pool (I work with disabled children). Never harmed it..I replace every two years when it starts to get thin on the bum!

StealthPolarBear · 16/02/2019 16:53

I will definitely stop panicking then, thank you

No you are good for at least 10+ washes on hot I do mine on hot all of the time Blush

StealthPolarBear · 16/02/2019 16:57

Have the last two posters definitely looked at their bum in a mirror when wearing it recently :o

Sorry to be dim here but what qualifies as a hot wash and is it true that it will go see through? Asking for a friend who swims twice a week Wink

YourFly · 16/02/2019 18:57

What should one do?

Handwash it?

I honestly dont know. I throw it in the machine

StealthPolarBear · 17/02/2019 10:14

Hot wash =60 to me. Would usually wash a costime on 30 or 40

OP posts:
misscockerspaniel · 17/02/2019 11:31

Thank you. The label says 30 but I have been washing at 40. Will be checking for transparency when I swim tomorrow Smile

StealthPolarBear · 17/02/2019 12:01

I'm talking about dd's though so she probably only gets a year out of it before she grows

Perhaps the elastic will go sooner. But one 60 degree wash should be fine. How did the goggles survive?

StealthPolarBear · 18/02/2019 06:27

They're scratched but I'm sure they always were. I bet they're lovely and clean now :)

The Google’s will be fine. The suit will be ok as long as it isn’t a regular thing- assuming it’s a normal suit rather than a tech suit or skin! Hand washed in cold water with no detergent at all is best.

QueenofLouisiana · 18/02/2019 06:42

goggles not Google’s!
