I've just been listening to 'Will You' by Hazel O'Connor and I'd forgotten what a fantastic song it is. 'Thunder In The Mountains' by her contemporary, Toyah Wilcox, is also great.

Nobody Does It Better by Carly Simon;

At Seventeen by Janis Ian.

I'll probably think of more classics later.

IndigoSpritz · 16/02/2019 21:46

If no one has yet mentioned 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor, good. Please don't. Please. However, Never Can Say Goodbye is splendid.

Also, My Boy Lollipop by Millie for a little unpretentious ska-pop.
