Flu with vaccine

I seem to have gotten the flu even though I had the vaccine. It might seem a silly question but do i need to let a doctor know? I guess I probably don’t as they don’t have the time to see everyone with flu but I was wondering how does the NHS monitor how effective the vaccine is if they don’t know?

I think I have the flu and I had the vaccine in December. One of my ds also has similar symptoms and he had the nasal spray. I started with a sore throat on Friday and woke up yesterday with a slight runny nose but feeling like I'd been beaten up. I took regular meds yesterday which helped a little but during the night my temp was 40.1 but I still felt cold. Going to keep dosed up today and hope it eases off.
