Going next week with 15:30 slot. Any tips on where kids should go first? Age 12, 7 and 5

My tip would be to make sure the dc have a pocket or bag to carry their kidzos around in.

The fasted way of earning kidzos if they run out is the courier job! And I think the cleaning job pays mote than the rest.

My dc loved the emergency service jobs - basically there is a fake fire every 10 tens and the fire brigade have to put it out, the police have to manage the scene and the paramedics have to treat people. My kids loved that the most.

For the older dc, I think the journalist job looked really good, but mine were a bit young to appreciate it.

Oh wow, didn’t know about these kidzo’s? Do they get some to start off with? Or will it be good idea for them to start with cleaning job to earn more of them? What do they use kidzos for?

Why dreading it?! I’m not sure about my younger two, they get embarrassed really easily. Is there an element of acting involved on their part? Or are they guided to do things?

It really isn't that bad, my dc loved it and it was quite chilled for me and dp.

Kidzos are the currency in Kidzania. You get a load of them when you go in. Some jobs you get paid to do, some jobs you have to pay for. There is a sign in the window of each job telling you what it costs or pays, how long it takes (so you know how long you might have to wait for the activity to start).

It all makes sense when you are there, and the staff are very helpful.

My youngest 2 DC went just after Christmas but I left them there and went shopping with DD1.

The only tip I can think of is if you lose them, it's secure but a big place, there are information points around and it you scan your wrist band it tells you the last place they scanned theirs.

Oh and any left over currency can be spent in the gift shop, though the things you can buy aren't great.

My DC are 10 and 8 and they loved it. They have said they really want to go again.

Sounds good! I guess we’ll have to walk around with the younger two as the website says you have to supervise kids under 8.

Are there any particular jobs that are the best to go to first?

Do parents just stand by and watch?

Parents are only allowed in a couple of jobs and that is as audience members and things like that. Other jobs you watch through a window.

My DDs loved making wraps (the actual wrap not just filling one) but you have to pay for that. They did talk about other jobs but I can't remember now.

Wonderwomam · 16/02/2019 11:04

I’ve just had a look at the list of jobs and the wrap making looks fun!

Are parents allowed to take pictures on the premises or is this not allowed?
