Went with my mom when she was referred from her GP to the hospital because of severe knee pain. Blood results had the doctors concerned and then they found a 'dark spot' on her x ray.
Dr is getting second opinions from other doctors and she has more bloods and an mri appointment next week. The doctor mentioned the C word in the list of potential things that show up on x rays as a dark spot and now I'm terrified. Scared myself by googling about bone cancer and her symptoms tick every box.
I'm only 23. She's only 48. She can't have cancer. She's my only family support and I have nobody else. My two sons love her so much, She's like a second mom to them and I don't know how I could handle them not having her in their life if it was worst case scenario.
Me and my mom aren't worriers by nature, in fact the complete opposite. But something in my gut is screaming that i need to be worried and I'm so so scared.
