Too soon to phone the gp again?

So DS started complaining yesterday that his penis was sore. DH took him to the doctors this morning who gave him some cream for it and said it was infected, cream is to be used twice a day. He's had it put on twice today and if anything his penis looks more swollen and inflamed than it did this morning. He was also complaining of feeling sick at school and had to be collected early cos he was unwell although hasn't actually been sick. He also seems to have a bit of a fever.

When is too soon so speak to the doctor again? For context I might be worrying and stressing more than usual as it's his birthday tomorrow and his party!

He saw the GP this morning? I'd give it a bit more time personally...

Obviously take him to A&E if he develops symptoms of sepsis.

Definitely ring them. Sounds like it's getting worse and he may need oral antibiotics

Go to out of hours to be on the safe side.

Allergic reaction? I wouldn't wait if he seems to be getting worse.

Thanks for your replies! I just tried to give him a bath and he couldn't even sit down the pain was making him cry and shake. Gp haven't got anything left so I'll phone 111 for ooh when they open at 6.30! Thank you everyone for not calling me neurotic

Aww poor thing, yeah i would have phoned them too ,if he was in that much pain u couldnt have left him that way, hope he is feeling better now x
