Vomiting - how long before Dr?

DS has been vomiting for just over 24 hours.

Does seem to be easing off he's going longer between bouts. He's drinking as much as he can face in small sips.

How long before I need to get him seen? Just feels like it's gone on a long time!

He's 7

It sounds as if it’s being well managed at home and he should recover without needing to be seen.

So long as he's keeping some water down and doesn't seem dehydrated there's not much a GP can do.

Thanks.

That's my gut feeling but don't want to get it wrong Confused

Glad it seems to be easing off. After 24hrs he should be slowing down with it and sips of water are the right thing.
There's definitely something going round. My poor little niece spent the other weekend being horrendously sick for 24hrs and she's only 4 bless her.
I wasn't sure what your OP was going to be and came in to say that I spent 5-7 days being unable to barely keep even liquid down, and ended up on some heavy duty medication with the threat of being admitted to hospital in 12 hrs if the medication didn't work! So I think I left it a bit late before contacting the Dr
Hope your DS feels better soon
