Just moved house, bought all fancy new bedding, well I'm laying here thinking wtf? Bed is wrong colour, "fitted" sheets and pillow cases are bloody huge and the pillows are a load of shit!

Please recommend me some nice pillows, I want to cry!!! First world problem I know

Depends on your preference of pillow filling and how high you like the pillow to be. So that depends on the distance between neck and shoulder.

I have memory foam but its a certain make I happened upon in a bed shop. Had to buy a replacement from ebay .

My mum has always preferred feather. I find them too soft.

Often pillows in hotels are too full and soft so one isn't enough but two is too much so I end up taking my own.

Get a side-sleeper pillow. They are ace.

I don't really know what I like 😫 I don't like feather but that's because I think they smell funny and it annoys me when the feathers poke out. I feel like I've spent a fortune on pillows in my life time. I'll have a look into side sleeper, DP

I got 2 amazing pillows from Argos.

I have to have them fairly firm else my neck and shoulders hurt all day.

They are so nice. I will see what they are. I wish I bought 2 more.

Otty pillows. Amazing haha. We got the mattress last year and got 2 pillows free with it. Amazing memory foam and have washable cover. So soft 😚

Kind of feel Otty need to start paying me for how much I recommend them 🤔

I really like The White Company pillows. Expensive, but worth it IMO.

OP, if feather pillows smell, they are cheap not properly cleaned/treated feathers, and they should all have soft spines and really dense cases= no poking.
I haven't found any hollow fibre pillows which I've liked. The feather ones should be down and feather mixture anyway.
I tried various john lewis and M&S (nothing over £45 per pillow), actually found a couple I bought from Waitrose last year (said Waitrose on them, not john Lewis) were only 15 each and quite good. But the best ones for me turned out IKEA ones down+feather, I think they were £35 each and you could choose softer or firmer version. Can be washed at 60 degrees too (good for getting rid of dust mites and their by products)

I got some emergancy pillows from a market stall last summer. 2 for £5. They are the bollocks. So comfortable and haven't lots any shape.
I've spent a fortune on allegedly superior pillows all my life, and always been so disappointed.
I went and stocked up on the market pillows.

Latex pillows. £60 a pillow and worth every penny.

IDoN0tCare · 14/02/2019 23:35

You could always buy this side sleeper pillow. It’s great value, as the recommended retail price is £15.99 and wayfair is selling it for....

Many times I have recommended these, you need dunlopillo. Latex pillows. Expensive but last forever as fully washable. Buy in John Lewis. Best. Pillows. Ever.

CallMeRachel · 15/02/2019 00:16

I've gone through a fortune in pillows but have recently found the best ever in Tempur Comfort Pillows. They are pricey at around £80 each but so worth it.
