Help me get the best out of it please!?

It is a special offer and includes the oven!

Its 2 women for 2 hours 15 minutes.

I won't meet them as my dad is coming to let them in as we're away!

Tidy tidy tidy first so they can really get going.

Do you want the doors and skirting washed down? The tops of cupboards? Sofas pulling out for vacuuming? The bedrooms done the best or the kitchen? Or the bathroom?

PlaymobilPirate · 14/02/2019 20:49

Downstairs is wood floor right through lounge and big kitchen diner (no skirting boards as they're not on yet - we've been renovating)

Will definitely tidy, good plan!

Only 1 bathroom. 2 bedrooms but I'd rather they didn't do ours at the minute I think!

Lists lists lists! Identify what you want done, prioritise, and give clear instructions.

Feelingfullandreadytoclean · 14/02/2019 20:51

Oven
Under all furniture and beds etc
Deep clean bathroom
Hoover and dust all rooms
Clean the top of all cupboards and furniture
Windows on inside and clean front and back door.
Shake out all rugs

Tidy up well before they come

PlaymobilPirate · 14/02/2019 20:51

I've never had a cleaner! Worried they'd be offended by a list !

Littleraindrop15 · 14/02/2019 20:52

I'd suggest to make a list of what you would like to be cleaned go in each room and write what needs doing

Livedandlearned · 14/02/2019 20:52

Yy to lists!

EnidButton · 14/02/2019 20:53

Let them do your room! No point booki g all that just to be left with one room not done. Box shit up and shove it in the garage/loft if it's that bad.

PlaymobilPirate · 14/02/2019 21:41

No garage. We've been renovating for bloody years and building an extension so our room has stuff we still need to sort etc in :(

InterchangeableEmma · 14/02/2019 21:45

Missing out your room would be a depressing and demotivating mistake. Could you stack as much as possible of the stuff on the bed, seeing as you'll be away anyway?

mrbob · 14/02/2019 22:35

Do you want them to clean out your kitchen cupboards? That and deep cleans of the kitchen and bathroom would be mine

EnidButton · 14/02/2019 23:11

That would take longer though MrB. Takes me at least 2 hours to do all mine properly.

EnidButton · 14/02/2019 23:12

Might just be me being slow. Grin

BarbaraofSevillle · 15/02/2019 07:24

Is it possible to speak to them or their manager beforehand to discuss your priorities, clarify what you want and see if there is anything you can do to make the job easier and most successful?

PlaymobilPirate · 15/02/2019 23:04

I'll try to ring them. In an ideal world they'd just come in, see e factly what needs doing and do it!

Also - they'll be doing the shower. Do I need to get do to clean out the plug hole first??
