What is this rash?

I'm covered head to toe in this insanely itchy rash. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I am recovering from flu and chest infection if that's of any relevance? Just finished a five day course of antibiotics.

Have you done the glass test? Probably viral rash but don't take chances if you feel unwell

looks like hives, but do the glass test as suggested.

Yes, it blanches when pressure applied.

Any itching remedies?

Looks like reaction to the antibiotics to me. Check with pharmacist they may be able to give you a better antihistamine

What was the antibiotic? If a reaction to that GP may prescribe fexofenadine over the phone? Stronger antihistamine.

Been to drs. I have developed an allergy to penicillin. Antihistamines double dose for a week.

That would do it. I thought either penicillin or a sulfur based one. Hope you get some relief soon.
