I'm still in touch with two college tutors. I'm now in my mid 30's

No, there was never any personal relationship with any of them and I wouldn't have known how to contact them in any case (pre email days).

RiverTam · 14/02/2019 17:35

ditto, Meet.

Would never occur to me to have kept in touch!

CherryPavlova · 14/02/2019 17:36

Yes but only because we met again professionally about three years ago. He wasn’t quite as old as I remembered and was good fun.

No, my school teachers were evil witches.
My Uni lecturers were good people but I don’t see the need to be in contact with them 15 years after graduating.

candlefloozy · 14/02/2019 17:42

Recently added my old headteacher on Facebook the other day

WrongKindOfFace · 14/02/2019 17:47

Nope. I would expect it’s fairly unusual.

lastqueenofscotland · 14/02/2019 17:48

No I had a uni lecturer who saw me as a bit of a prodigy and kept in touch for a few years (trying to persuade me to do a masters mostly)

HoldOnToHope · 14/02/2019 17:54

I have a few teachers from high school on Facebook, but there's not much communication besides a birthday wish and a "like" here and there.

britnay · 14/02/2019 17:54

Yes, but my parents are teachers and we sometimes lived at boarding schools; this involved quite a lot of socialising with teachers!

Dothehappydance · 14/02/2019 18:05

Yes

but she is my Aunt
