Good US websites to look at for presents for a friend in the States

Just that please.

I want to send a present to my friend in the US. I don't have much to spend - maybe £20 maximum. I guess buying from a US site would be the cheapest and easiest way. Obviously I know about Amazon.com and I thought we could buy from US Etsy - but I am struggling to see the US site. Can anyone recommend any other sites?

Thanks!

I like Crate & Barrel. They have some nice homeward items and do fab christmas/halloween decorations.

Homeware, not homeward!!

Thanks. I assume I can order with a UK based card for delivery to a US address?

I would have thought so. I've not actually ordered from the website, only bought in-store, but they offer UK delivery so must accept UK cards.

I bought a gift card from a US site at Christmas, used a UK card but had it delivered to an address in the US and that was fine.

On etsy, do a search and then filter down by location. You can select "custom" and then enter united states.

anthrologie has pretty things

thank you! Pop, not sure why I didn't work that out myself Blush

Gah. A million things to buy and I can’t find anything! My friend bought me a really lovely “friends” (not the TV programme) mug from the U.K. site. I wanted to buy something similar, but can’t find anything.

Sears? They are a big department store (like Debenhams), I don't know if you can use a UK card but we've found lots of lovely things from there. (we have a US card).

The only thing is a lot of US sires I’ve found you need to have a US credit card so I’ve always used amazon.
